Jacqui Parker-Snedker of the Snug Cove Sewer Management Committee, MLA Joan McIntyre, Councillor Peter Frinton – council liaison to the SCSMC – and Mayor Bob Turner. Ms. McIntyre presented Bowen Island Municipality with a cheque for $400,000 on behalf of the Province of British Columbia from the Towns for Tomorrow program on Saturday, Aug 23. The grant money will be used for environmental enhancement, modification and expansion of the Snug Cove sewage system.
